Nexus 5 Is Restarting Again and Again

Guys my gf's Nexus 5 shutdown today and simply refuses to boot upwardly. It doesn't exercise annihilation with any of the keys pressed in any of the combinations that are defined. But in one case it is plugged in to the charger or USB, the google logo pops up and the phone keeps on rebooting to that logo. If the volume down primal is pressed when this is happening, the fastboot mode is visible for a second and the phone keeps rebooting. No action can be done in the fastboot mode due to the quick reboot. I am attaching the video of the problem. Any help guys?

What if you boot information technology pressing vol upward + vol downwards + power?

If on battery, then the phone does nothing. If plugged in to charger and the key combination is tried then the phone keeps on doing as shown in the video.

Don't know what's going on.
Try doing that just with the phone continued to a PC that has adb and fastboot installed.

I would go out the phone plugged in for an hour and don't touch on it. And so try.

Trust me.

I would exit the phone plugged in for an 60 minutes and don't bear upon it. Then endeavour.

Tried that already. No modify. Any other ideas?

Yous have a fauilty or a stucked power key.

If it is simply stucked then you tin can unstuck it by abusing the ability key or taking the telephone autonomously.

If it is fauilty and so you have to claim your warranty.

If you lot disassemble the phone you will void your warranty

Yeah the repair guy you dealt with must have fixed the push button short-term only in doing and then inadvertently acquired it to brusk out. Meaning it needs to go back to a repair shop (better ane) and cross your fingers that it didn't short out more important components

Okie. Volition take the phone to LG tomorrow or over the weekend.

Guys delight articulate my one doubt. If it's the stuck power push, what does information technology have to practise with the phone not doing anything when on battery just decides to get till 'Google' when plugged in?

My phone behaves the same way if I constantly press the power push button

Did you lot get it stock-still? I have the same result and I've tried many ways to bring information technology dorsum to life. My concluding step will be taking information technology to the tech support, because I alive in Brazil, and I'm pretty sure they will charge me expensively equally hell.

Did you become information technology fixed? I have the aforementioned result and I've tried many ways to bring it back to life. My last step will be taking information technology to the tech support, because I live in Brazil, and I'one thousand pretty sure they volition charge me expensively equally hell.

I'g in the same boat, unfortuantely i'm at a loss in what to do, i'm going to send it back to Google and wait a replacement, meanwhile i'll get my easily on some cheap sometime phone for now.

Had my Nexus 5 for nearly a few month now, and have loved it till this morn, it decided to only close off (full battery as well) and i tried to turn it on and it is now just constantly starting upwardly to the "Google" splash screen and then shutting off.

Sometimes it gets to the the 4 color circles then shuts off.

I want to enter into recovery manner, just I have no time to click recovery mode as it reboots frequently
One affair i noticed when information technology did boot upwards was the power button seems to be extremely sensitive and volatile

I had this same trouble.. It constantly rebooted and wouldn't let me get into recovery.. Every time I plugged in the charger it would reboot also. You lot have to allow the battery completely drain.. I gave it a couple weeks.. then tried it once more and it worked.

Found a solution

Well same thing started to happening with me yesterday after installing android L'southward developers' preview in my nexus 5. It worked well for start 4-5 hours simply then subsequently terminating a telephone phone call when I put information technology dorsum to my pocket problem started. I searched many forums for solution so I decided to re-install from image. I connected my phone to My PC (Which had driver installed & fastBoot setup) dramatically my phone started working well. And I detached my telephone from PC. And so I idea it might solved because later supplying charging. Simply after 3-4 hours it started again so I straight plugged in to electric socket simply it kept on rebooting. Then I turned on my PC and attached my nexus five with information technology. Again it started dramatically.

Still I don't know the exact reason backside information technology. Simply good new is my phone is nonetheless working since terminal 16 hours... Simply I took care of not to launch some apps listed risky for developer'southward preview. Then I thing some incompatible app launch may be a reason... merely withal its only "may be"

I had this same problem.. It constantly rebooted and wouldn't allow me get into recovery.. Every fourth dimension I plugged in the charger it would reboot also. Y'all take to let the battery completely drain.. I gave it a couple weeks.. then tried it again and information technology worked.

If it happens again endeavour what I just answered and let us know if it worked for you lot? So we can come to know if solution was nexus 5 specific or android 50 specific. Also mention the OS version, please.

Thats very strange..since information technology started happening to me since yesterday. I managed to flash it over again (and that i suppose should have cleared everything) but problem persists. Ill now try to restore factory image.

aforementioned matter happened with me 1 calendar month agone............tried everything except opening information technology up and finally i got it replaced.................you cannot ready it on ur own accept information technology to a service eye asap........thank me if this helps!!

Thanks. I restored it to the original nexus 5 build - but zip seems to fix the problem. volition reach out to service center.
